Hello there!

Today you are going to know about an aspiring data scientist, Rajasree Katari, that's me ! I am currently pursuing masters in business analytics at UT Dallas. Also, I am working as a data science intern at KLNtek. I love playing with data and drawing out business insights that shapes the future of a organization.

My skill set includes predictive modelling using Machine learning, Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Analytical Reporting and building dashboards. I have good experience in Data analysis and modelling which include identifying data sources, collecting data and performing statistical analysis to understand data and develop strategies.

I am available for hire from October 26, 2020 (40 hrs/week) and passionate about any new learning opportunities that comes my way.

As a Data Science Intern to enterprise analytics team, I will be building predictive models and Machine Learning algorithms to make important business decisions for regression tasks which involves publicly available data. Develop data pipelines for automated evaluation and checking model performance. Data visualization using tableau to publish analytical reports regarding the predictions on the data sets. The Business Analytics course taught me a lot of things about data(how to perceive data and how not to), analytics and of course business. My course work includes Databases for Analytics, Prescriptive Analytics, Predictive Analytics using SAS, Statistics, Data Science, Econometrics and applied machine learning. Details of database project that I worked : Spatial Data of US Wildfires – MySQL, MongoDB: * Created a physical database in MongoDB and mySQL (normalized to 3NF) and flattened fields in json format to csv and cleaned raw data to populate in data model. * Wrote complex queries and scripts to answer various business questions in both databases and compared performance and effectiveness.
